Recipe: Summer Sangria
Sangria is a delicious summertime drink. Using red or white wine and fruit, it is a beautiful drink that showcases the flavors of summer!
INGREDIENTS:
Wine:
Red or White – it does not have to be an expensive wine, as the fruit will change the flavor anyway! But it should be a lighter wine – Pinot Noir for Red or Chardonnay for White so the fruit flavors can come through.
Sliced Fruit:
Oranges, Limes, Lemons, Apples, Peaches, Plums, Grapes, Mango, Apricots- be creative, you can use anything here you can imagine. I also saw a show with Giada De Laurentiis where she grilled peaches on the grill and then put them in white or red wine. It looked amazing!
METHOD:
Pour wine into a large pitcher. Slice fruit and place in wine. Chill for about 30 minutes before serving to allow the fruit and wine to marinate.
Pour into large wine goblets and enjoy!

Hi Tartlette!
I can’t take credit for the photographs. My fiancee is the one who takes all of them. Honestly the sangria looked so picture perfect I had to have the shot and then decided, I might as well post the recipe!
