I have several spice blends that I use all the time for a variety of dishes. They are easy to make but priceless when it comes to the ease of use when you are trying to make something fast. Made ahead, stored in your pantry, they are grab and go easy!

Each recipe makes about ½ to 1/4 cup of seasoning.
These recipes are using dried herbs.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in your pantry.

Meat Rub:
This is a perfect rub for meats. Rub your meat with olive oil, then this spice blend and let marinate for about an hour, then your meat is ready for the grill or your sautee pan. Especially good for Ribs!

2 Tbs Paprika
1 Tbs Garlic Powder
2 Tbs Coriander
2 Tbs Cumin
1 Tbs Black Pepper
2Tbs Oregano

Italian Spice Blend:
Use this to flavor meats, pasta sauces, or sprinkle on your pizzas.

2 Tbs Oregano
2 Tbs Basil
2 Tbs Parsley
1 Tbs Garlic Powder

¼ Tbs Salt

¼ Tbs Black Pepper

Mediterranean Spice Blend:
This is a great spice to change up the tastes of your meats, casseroles, sauces and salads. Great on pork, chicken or lamb and especially good in meat pies and sauces. Mix with olive oil and vinegar for a delicious new vinaigrette!

2 Tbs Oregano
1 Tbs Sumac (do not confuse this for the poisonus plant)
1 Tbs Garlic Powder
1/4 Tbs Salt
¼ Tbs Pepper
½ Tbs Cinnamon or Nutmeg
2 Tbs Coriander
2 Tbs Cumin
¼ Tbs Mint
¼ Tbs Lemon Peel

Mexican Blend:
This is perfect for tacos, nachos, chili, beans and rice, and is delicious on corn!

1 Tbs Garlic Powder
2 Tbs Cumin
1 Tbs Coriander
1 1/2 Tbs Chili Powder (more if you like it hotter)
½ Tbs Pepper
¼ tsp Salt

Garden Herb Blend:
This is perfect for eggs, fish, vegetables, or chicken.

1 Tbs Thyme
1/2 Tbs Oregano
1 Tbs Basil
1/4 Tbs Rosemary
1 Tbs Parsley
1 Tbs Tarragon
